Once a preferred layout has been agreed we will advise if Planning permission will be required. If it is then we will prepare a set of CAD drawings to support a Planning application. Once the application is submitted and registered by the Local Authority they have around 8-10 weeks to approve or refuse the application. If there are areas of the design which the Planner does not feel complies with Planning Policy they will discuss these with us and we will work with Planning to resolve any issues. Planning will also send out Neighbour Notifications which gives your neighbours 21 days to provide any comments on the application if they wish. You may want to discuss the proposals with your neighbours prior to them being notified by the Local Authority. The Planner may visit the property prior to preparing their report.
