Some clients choose to appoint us to gain Planning and Building Warrant approvals and then deal with obtaining quotes and appointing a contractor themselves. This is fine, particularly if you have experience of past projects and working with contractors.
If you do decide to appoint us at Tender stage then we will prepare a specification document which will detail everything the contractor will need to include in the tender price. We will also produce specific detailed drawings. This information will be issued to the tendering contractor who will be given a set time, usually around 4-5 weeks to prepare and submit their tender. Following the return of all the tenders we will assess them with you and give advice on a suitable contractor to appoint.
Following your selection of contractor we will prepare a suitable Building Contract and Construction drawings for issue. We will hold a pre-start meeting to discuss the project and deal with contract administration.
