Client: Findhorn Village Centre and Annex

Dates: FVC work completed June 2016 and Annex completed September 2017

 

At the end of 2015 I started work with the Findhorn Village Centre to provide designs for the renovation of the Findhorn Hostel.  The renovation work was completed in June 2016 and the client is delighted with the change it has made to the hostel. 

 

We also completed proposals for a new Community Studio Annex which adjoins the existing Hostel building.  The 42m2 building provides flexible community space for craft classes. yoga and much more.  The design has clear connections to its coastal location and uses a subtle palette of natural materials.   The scheme gained both Planning and Building Warrant earlier in 2016 and work started on site in September 2016.
